The conference will gather European leaders and policymakers currently involved in key European projects concerning the Eastern Neighbourhood.

We are convinced that the timing of the conference and the list of distinguished contributors provide us with an excellent platform for discussing the present stage of EU involvement in the Eastern Partnership and concrete projects within the framework of this initiative. There are two debates foreseen in the programme of the conference: “Eastern Partnership - The European Opportunity for Eastern Partners” and “EU´s Eastern Partnership: How to Proceed in 2009?”. The meeting will start with a presentation of a report Accelerating Ukraine’s European Integration by Professor Alan Mayhew.

We hope you will join us in these important debates.
