Event Announcement: Waging Peace - Harvard University Center for European Studies, October 15, 2007

The third session of the 2007-2008 Harvard CES Berlin Dialogues, "Waging Peace" will take place on Monday, October 15, 2007, from 18.00-20.00 (Reception begins at 17.30) at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung, Reichpietschufer 50, 10785 Berlin.
The event will be chaired by: Thorsten Benner, Associate Director, GPPi, Berlin
The Speakers will be: Prof. Mentor Agani, Lecturer in Sociology and Political Science, University of Prishtina, where he teaches on theories of nation and nationalism and global transformations; former deputy director of the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation. Prof. David Little, T.J. Dermot Dumphy Professor of the Practice in Religion, Ethnicity and International Conflict, Harvard Divinity School. Lt. General Karlheinz Viereck, Commander, Bundeswehr Operations Command, Potsdam; head of peacekeeping mission in the Congo and Afghanistan.
