Summer School 2008: Transatlantic Perspectives on Security
From the 23rd of June to the 4th of July 2008, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, will host the Summer School ‘Transatlantic Perspectives on Security in the 21st Century’. Through an investigative, interactive and interdisciplinary approach, students will examine the myriad of challenges faced by the transatlantic security community at the start of the 21st century. This summer school will bring together students from both sides of the Atlantic who are interested in security issues and are currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme, or who have just graduated from an undergraduate programme. The programme is divided up into modules on global security, national security and conflict management. The deadline for applications is set on the 1st of May 2008.
