Trans-Atlantic Relations from the Perspective of Central Europe: European Summer School 2008
EUROPEUM, the Institute for European Policy is organizing the sixth year of the European Summer School under the title: “Trans-Atlantic Relations from the Perspective of Central Europe.” Come to Prague and spend 10 days in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities examining transatlantic relations from the view of Central European countries in the EU.
The summer school will focus on similarities and differences in policies and approaches of the European Union and its member states and of the United States of America. The courses will emphasize the particular situations of Central European countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia) and try to answer the question of the extent to which the division of Old Europe and New Europe remains. Participants of the ESS 2008 will learn and discuss the different issues of individual policies.
Dates: July 5 - July 15, 2008
