Al-Qaeda has Found a Safe Haven in Pakistan

Editorial, The Christian Science Monitor | July 23, 2008

Even though it is Afghanistan that is the main security threat to the US, the road to improvement in that part of the world starts in Pakistan. ++ Al-Qaeda has found a safe haven in Pakistan's lawless region near the Afghan border, where it has regrouped and reached pre-9/11 strength. ++ The critical role Pakistan plays in security policy has been recognized by Washington; last week Congress passed a bill which triples development aid to Pakistan, in hopes that building up deprived regions will help uproot extremist Islam.

I like this comment! What's this?
Maybe someone should make a movie upon the al-queda. Nice typical Hollywood flick that can turn them into the desired monsters that the media often portrays them as. It would satiate many Republicans and after Afghanistan and its people are bombed out of existence, the al-quaeda would then be found in other muslim countries. Religious fanaticism and Islam is synonymous. True. Hindu fanaticism is begining to make small news though they are not as well united or organized or exhibit the capacity that muslims are supposed to do. Quite regularly. There may be other religions too, unless they display their toothless and thus harmless existences, that may be allowed to exist - as alm-seekers. As long as they stay that way, there would be no danger to the world. Not from any quarter, whatsoever. Perhaps if Hindus do not learn the way to be silent and toothless, they may begin to be decimated and perhaps another movie may make its debut, in Hollywood. A lot of people in the sub-continent would enjoy that and welcome that. China, in its gradual adoption of christianity, is displaying clear signs of re-conciliation and thus may not get obliterated via Hollywood flicks or missiles. Strait-jacketed existences like same-race only marriages, interactions, etc. then can have scientifically segmented populace, enabling control. The fanatics, suitably helped by Hollywood, would either be obliterated cinematically and in the popular imagination of the populace or with real methods. Unless they display the toothless acquiesence that becomes acceptable and gets vetted by the Pope or a Pastor for suitable 'humility' that behoves 'infidels'.
With such enlightened outlooks and views in the twenty-first century, since the Gregorian calendar keeps on counting years and giving names to centuries - alongwith the image-industry spun life-styles and beliefs - it is not too far away in the distant future that the entire world would be bereft of those who think, feel or claim to have come from the regions around the Caspian Sea. Peace would reign and suitably segmented and controlled populace would ensure, in a scientific manner - humble peace upon earth. Centuries of socializations and de-humanization, when limited to religious fantatics and the legacy of the Caspian Sea, should enable the great American Dream to flower upon earth. South Asia would then not be the home to al-quaeda, though should it be the home to Saint John's Army - those would be the welcome signs. Of ushering in the other centuries.
