Personal Statement
I am a trilingual recent Bryn Mawr College graduate who seeks employment where I can use my French and German language skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, keen analytical skills, passion for travel and global citizenship, as well as my creativity and artistic sensibilities in a rewarding job with opportunities for networking and advancement. An experienced traveler, I wish to live overseas for a time, preferably in Berlin, Germany where I studied and had an internship for six months in 2007. I have leadership experience in an academic setting as a Residential Advisor and Orientation Counselor, as well as having led a group of American teenagers to France for a month-long summer program. I am a good teacher and excellent listener, a practical, resourceful and flexible person, and as a hard worker with extensive experience in the service industry I have learned how to deal effectively with the public and with customers. Areas of specific interest: Environmental Policy, Sustainable Economic Development, Women's Issues and General Human Rights Issues, Promotion of Peace through global citizenship initiatives, EU-US relations, amongst others.
