The Academic Award of the German Parliament 2008
This year too, the German parliament will be handing out an academic prize. This award was created in 1989 on the occasion of the parliament’s 40th anniversary and is awarded every other year since 1997. It awards outstanding recent academic papers dealing with parliamentary questions and contributing to an increased understanding of parliamentary practices.

- Scientific studies can be suggested by the author himself as well as on behalf of the author.
Three copies of the piece should be provided and submitted only after the potential academic procedure has ended. A CV should also be submitted. Only publications which have been published after the August 1 2006 can be taken into consideration.
The selection of the prize winners takes place under the guidance of a top-class jury of specialists and scientist from a variety of backgrounds.
